Chip Wilbanks

Charles R. Wilbanks, Jr. is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience practicing law in Mississippi and across the United States. He has a national practice advising clients in products liability litigation, including toxic torts, silica, asbestos, medical device and pharmaceutical litigation. He has served as lead trial counsel in courts across the country. Chip also represents clients in landlord/tenant, church law and litigation, insurance defense, real estate and property litigation and construction litigation. Chip also has extensive experience in a wide range of business transactions as well as commercial and residential real estate matters, wills and estates, contracts, and a variety of other business and personal legal matters.

Chip has served as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Clinton Public School District. He has served on the Board for Brilla Soccer Ministry, on the Board of National Leigh’s Disease Foundation, as President of the Board of the Mississippi Children’s Legal Clinic, on the Mississippi College School of Business Administration Alumni Advisory Board and on the Mississippi College Child Advocacy Program Advisory Board.

Matt Dowd

Matthew R. Dowd is an experienced trial lawyer who has a national practice advising clients in product liability defense matters, including cases involving silica, asbestos, drugs and medical devices, and safety equipment products. He also advises on commercial litigation, including contracts, collections, real estate, construction, personal injury, premises liability and other matters. Matt has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in a variety of areas, including several complex product liability and mass tort cases. Matt also has extensive experience in a wide range of business transactions as well as commercial and residential real estate matters, wills and estates, contracts, and a variety of other business and personal legal matters.

Matt also serves as outside general counsel to a variety of businesses, advising on day-to-day operational issues, contracts, transactions and litigation prevention strategies.

Community Involvement

Matt is a former Board member of the Phoenix Club of Jackson, an organization benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi and a former member of the Executive Board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi. Matt is an active member of Madison Heights Presbyterian Church in Madison, Mississippi.

Lindsey Watson

Lindsey Oswalt Watson is a seasoned attorney with 14 years of experience in appellate, commercial, and employment litigation.  She has successfully handled dozens of appeals and has drafted appellate briefs to the Mississippi Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eleventh, and D.C. Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Lindsey has also litigated and tried a number of employment matters, including cases alleging race, gender, or disability discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, breaches of employment contracts, and non-competition agreements.  As part of her employment practice, Lindsey has represented labor and employment clients in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, NLRB, and various hearing officers.

Additionally, Lindsey has worked extensively in the public education arena, representing clients in matters involving student civil rights, special education, and public contracts.  Likewise, she has significant experience in a broad range of commercial and real estate matters, including products liability, wills and estates, trusts, contracts, and business formation.

Community Involvement

Lindsey is an active member of the Junior League of Jackson, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  She also serves as a member of the worship team at Highlands Presbyterian Church in Madison, Mississippi.
